Until Tomorrow – 2/28/02

The night before you’ll never know
precisely how the sun will rise
or what lamp talks as if years have passed
Until tomorrow things still kind of glow

Survival is morning’s surprise
Like a large golden rock and sun in your eyes
Still not quite sure if the cat really flies
and if I died, would I really be dead?

Seems like one long night to me
The dreams spoke clearly to me
and I believed that I could see
the trouble with me

The dance on the wall proceeds
like they’re the only ones home at all
I float off the chair with ease
From above I trip and fall

The day before you’ll never know
exactly what the next will bring
Heaven or Hell, it’s all up to you
Freeze or flow, things still kind of glow. . .
Until tomorrow
